Customer Service Representative

Purpose of Position:

This person will serve as a contributing member of the Allegra team. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring that all customer service activities are accomplished in an effective, efficient manner.  The Customer Service Representative must ensure that the center strategies and goals are met and that the overall customer satisfaction provided by the center is conducive to building sales and maintaining profitability.

Primary Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Sales

  • Prepare invoice/work order of customer job specifications in a neat, orderly and accurate fashion and update stock order form accordingly.
  • Prepare quotes as required and follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Handling cash and credit sales.
  • Answer phones promptly.
  • Maintain customer history files
  • Monitor work in process daily.
  • Proofread all orders received from prepress prior to submitting to customer.
  • Process orders for outside services.
  • Maintain current supply catalogues.

Staff Relations

  • Serve as contributing and cooperative member of the team – daily.
  • Interface with prepress personnel regarding work in progress - daily.


  • Monitor quality on all printed, digitally produced and outside service jobs.
  • Maintain computer and front counter supplies.
  • Maintain clean and organized front counter area
  • Participate in daily production meeting.
