Several years ago, Allegra in Romeoville launched its FootPRINT Fund, which awards marketing communications and print services, through Allegra in Romeoville, to select applicant nonprofit organizations (501c3) to help enhance their image, expand their services and extend their marketing communications and printing budgets.
We have re-organized the FootPRINT Fund for 2015 from its original application format. While we have always tried to help as many worthy organizations as possible with their marketing collaterals through this grant, we continue to see these same organizations struggle through the tough times. We’ve come to realize that many organizations don’t have a current Marketing Plan, or simply don’t follow the one they have, and that reminds me of the old saying “Failing to plan is planning to fail”.
Beginning January 1, 2015, in order to determine how we can help your organizations best, we would like to review your current Marketing Plan with you and offer any necessary guidance and assistance to implement this plan throughout the year*. If you don’t have a Marketing Plan, we would like to help you create one and then implement it as well*. Your organizations can help exponentially more people in the area than we can alone. Sometimes you just need a little help from some marketing experts…like us!

Who is Eligible?
The FootPRINT Fund is offered on a limited basis and is open to any 501(c3) nonprofit group, association or charitable organization throughout the greater Chicagoland area that meets the FootPRINT Fund selection criteria.
What is the Value of Services Awarded?
The value of the services will be determined on a one-to-one basis with the nonprofit group leadership based on need.
Services include marketing planning, graphic design, printing, signs & banners, copying, bindery or automated mailing. Applicants are encouraged to reapply in the following year. Awards may only be used for projects originating during these dates and not to offset any existing balances due to Allegra in Romeoville.
What are the Selection Criteria?
Applications are reviewed by Tom and Linda Wilhelm from Allegra in Romeoville. Organizations should not assume an award has been given until such notification. Any eligible organization or association can apply and need not be a customer of Allegra in Romeoville.
Award recipients are selected based upon how the print services will be used to further the organization’s goals and mission, including:
- Service expansion – Use of print and marketing communications services to contribute to expanding an organization’s awareness or existing service projects.
- Program enhancements – Use of print and marketing communications services to promote new programs or projects.
- Leveraged efforts – Use of print and marketing communications services to increase the impact of other existing resources.
We’re here to help you impact the lives of others. Community support is a core value at Allegra in Romeoville. The FootPRINT Fund is designed to aid nonprofit organizations in their quest to create lasting impressions.
We hope the FootPRINT Fund we have established will help our local organizations and associations leave their “FootPRINT” in our community through increased awareness and visibility.
