After two decades as part of the Sir Speedy Printing franchise and several years as Biltmore Print & Image, a family business, downtown Asheville's mainstay print shop joined the Allegra Asheville network in June 2016. Still a prime location for traditional business and retail print projects, the South Slope store expanded over the course of 2016 and 2017 to encompass a variety of specialty signs & graphics, promotional products, and marketing needs for walk-ins, small and large businesses alike.
Project Manager / Production
Sam Hunt started with Biltmore Print & Image (now Allegra South Slope) in the summer of 2015 after years as a project coordinator in the retail print industry. He graduated from UNC Asheville with a B.A. in Mass Communication/Journalism and was the editor-in-chief of the school's newspaper, The Blue Banner. Sam is in charge of prepress and production of all jobs at the downtown Allegra location. He is passionate about consistently providing quick, accurate and high-quality print products and services. In his free time, he plays guitar for local rockers Knives & Daggers and follows college basketball way too fervently (go Heels!).
Promotional & Apparel Project Manager
Denise started working with Allegra in 2013 as a promotional and apparel project manager. She graduated from Bladen Community College in Dublin, NC in Business Management and graduated from Troutman's Beauty School in Wilmington, NC. She recently received her BASI in Advertising Specialty Institute. In her free time she enjoys thrift shopping, decorating and reading. She has one son that lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Susan has a BFA in Graphic Design from Murray State University. She has worked in print for over two years specializing in project management, customer service and design. She enjoys building relationships with clients and coworkers and loves the process of handling an intricate project from creation to completion. It doesn't get much better than hearing that a client loves their product. Let's make something beautiful!
Senior Signage Project Manager
Dan grew up in the suburbs of Chicago riding bikes and building forts. He graduated college in 1993 with an art degree and a girl, went to work as a production artist with a major Chicago Press/Color house, and made it official with that girl, Deborah in 1996. Dabbled in dozens of various hobbies, all of which involved working with his hands and making things go fast. Dan moved to WNC in 2007 and started working for Allegra Asheville. He found that he excelled at making signs and has made developing the large-format department his focus at Allegra/Image360.
Vice President of Operations/Dual Brand
Dennis has over 25 years of Operations, Quality Assurance and Process/Product Development. He is successful in increasing company revenues and profit margins through collaborative efforts with internal and external customers. Dennis is effective in establishing and achieving measurable business objectives through proactive process /system improvements. He has experience across Operations Management, Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Business Development and an advanced understanding on Lean Manufacturing.
Signage Project Manager
Kevin grew up in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan with a passion for photography, graphic design, and creating/building things from scratch. He went to a technical center for 2 years in his junior and senior year of high school for graphic design. After he graduated, he went into the Air Force following and traveled/ was deployed to Alaska, South Carolina, South Korea, Oman twice, Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan working in Security Forces. Stateside, he was either assigned to the flight line security or law enforcement. In 2014 he married his wife and they now have 2 little girls together. In 2015, I took on a job at a local sign shop where he discovered everything that goes into making a sign. In 2016 he and a friend opened their own sign company, making all sorts of different signage such as complete wayfinding packages, led message boards, channel letter sets, post and panel, banners, and vehicle graphics. In late 2018, he merged forces with Allegra Asheville.
Signage Project Manager
Tarrik's tasks include in pre-press, print, production, fabrication, and installation of a wide range of marketing products. He prides himself on professionalism, promptness, and aesthetic appeal of all jobs I produce. He is a fan of most sports, and in High school was the Varsity Football Captain! In college he was runner up for his College Senior Art exhibit, in which he created caricatures in charcoal/graphite and some 3D modeling. He is a father of two to his daughter Charli and son Tarrik Jr.
Signage Project Manager
Robert studied Business Administration at Penn State University and started his professional career in Distribution and Warehouse management in 1994. He started his work in the sign industry in 2005 to utilize his creative side and work with his hands. He has worked in all aspects of signage - from small stickers to large signage. He finds his work very exciting and humbling at the same time. he enjoys his work with clients and loves to help his clients' ideas come to life.
